This is a quick link to one of the most helpful books I have read in a while. There is very interesting information about how our brains work to accomplish tasks, and the neurochemistry behind habits. More importantly, there is instruction of how to create habits that will make you more productive, smarter, stronger, etc. One of the key ideas behind the book is: If you can turn a task or assignment into a habit, it becomes much easier and you can perform it with less effort and energy.
When I think of a habit, the first thing that comes to mind is: Biting Fingernails. This is a nasty habit that I have personally never been able to break. This book also talks a little about how to break bad habits… but it is primarily focused on creating and developing good habits.
